September is World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21, we invite you (in the comfort of your own homes) to participate in watching the world premiere of the documentary: Key Bags Names Words. (A separate posting with all the necessary information to access/view the video will be made available closer to the premiere date. PROMISE!)
The film profiles people living with dementia and their care partners, while also showcasing the artists, scientists, and policy experts who are engaged in addressing the global challenges of dementia and brain health. It is a hopeful celebration of the human spirit and inspires action! There ARE things we can do as individuals to reduce our risk of developing dementia. There ARE ways to connect meaningfully with our loved ones, even if they no longer recognize us. We CAN live a high quality of life after diagnosis!
As mentioned, we will provide a further posting by/on September 21 sharing both the video streaming link and password which will allow you access to watch anytime from the 21st to and including the 24th of September. (The video run time is 85 minutes.) In the meantime, take two minutes now to watch the amazing trailer for the film: Keys Bags Names Words Trailer
More to come! Spread the word to others about the documentary and share the streaming link/password (once provided).
