Tune In! CBC Radio Interview Saturday a.m. on Rooms to Thrive 💙

Exciting news! This Saturday (tomorrow!), Sonya DeVriendt, Lisa Senebald, and I will be on CBC’s Weekend Morning Show talking about our Rooms to Thrive project at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. We are presently scheduled to be on air at 8:45am. So, as you are brewing yourself a cuppa, please tune in to CBC Radio One 89.3 FM or 990 AM.  Bruce Ladan is the host for this particular weekend’s show and will help guide the conversation as we share our story!

As you know, Rooms to Thrive is our donor-driven project to refresh our 60+ year-old Home — transforming our Residents’ rooms and shared spaces into warm, uplifting places to live and gather. With Sonya’s and Lisa’s design expertise, we’re proving how color, texture, and thoughtful design can brighten life at any age.

I admit I’m sharing this for “selfish” reasons — to shine a spotlight on our important fundraising effort — but also for the best reasons of all:  to continue celebrating National Seniors Day (officially recognized on October 1st), and the Residents we’re so privileged to serve.

We’d love for you to tune in to CBC Radio One on Saturday morning — and cheer us on!

With gratitude,

Sherry Heppner – Development Coordinator

P.S. If you’d like to help make Rooms to Thrive happen for all our Residents, you can donate by credit card, PayPal or Google Pay by clicking the following link to be taken to our “CanadaHelps campaign” page:  Donate Rooms to Thrive  Every gift counts and brings us closer to fully transforming our Home! 💛
