Tummy Troubles Easing – 3rd & 4th Floor Neighborhoods

We’re happy to report that our 3rd and 4th floor neighborhood Residents are slowly recovering from last week’s tummy troubles, with most of those affected now back to feeling normal again. Our 2nd floor neighborhood Residents are not showing symptoms of the virus, and we continue to be observant of all our Residents to ensure no further spread is occurring.

We’re continuing to follow all the necessary precautions in caring for our Residents, including isolating those who are still experiencing symptoms. As per our regional health authority’s guidelines, we must wait 72 hours after the last case of a Resident having recovered before we can officially declare our situation as resolved.

While things are improving and the spread is slowing, we are keeping affected Residents on their respective neighborhood floors for meals, recreational activities, and family visits.

For the safety of everyone, we kindly ask that families and friends limit their visitation to essential ones only, helping reduce exposure and prevent any spread to the outside community. With this in mind, our Resident/Family Council meeting that was to take place this week is rescheduled to Wednesday, March 12 at 10:15 a.m.

We promise to keep you updated as warranted, with the hope we will have some positive news to share later this week.

Take care and stay safe! Remember to be diligent with the hand sanitizer!!  Don’t leave home with it!

Warmest regards,

Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
