We unfortunately share advice that the stomach bug has made an appearance (very unwanted!) at The Home specifically impacting our 4th floor neighborhood Residents.
Out of an abundance of precaution, and in adherence with our regional health authority’s policy, the affected Residents are remaining on their neighborhood floor for their meals, recreation activities, and family/friend visits.
Visitation is not restricted for any of our Residents, and we encourage everyone to make frequent use of hand sanitizer (or handwashing, when possible) which is the absolute best defense to curb the spread of the bug.
Additionally, if you are feeling unwell, please plan your visit to The Home once you are feeling well again. It Is that time of year when our windows are frozen shut, we are mostly staying indoors, and the spread of nasty germs is at its peak.
THANK YOU for your cooperation in helping us look after all our Residents’ wellbeing.
May your furnaces (and cars!) be running smoothly! Keep safe! Keep warm!
Best regards,
Sherry Heppner
