We understand how frustrating it can be when a phone call goes unanswered, whether personal or business-related.
At The Home, our top priority is always to provide the best possible care to our Residents. This sometimes means that incoming phone calls, especially to our nurses’ stations, may be delayed in being answered or directed to voicemail, particularly between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. During these hours, our staff are focused on critical activities such as shift changes, exchanging Resident wellbeing updates, conducting assessments, administering medications, and other essential care tasks that require their full, uninterrupted attention.
We encourage you to stay connected with us – particularly on urgent/time-sensitive concerns! However, we kindly also ask for your cooperation when calling us just to check-in on your loved one, to please consider the time of day and ensure you are calling us outside of our busiest hours. By timing your calls accordingly, you’ll help us provide YOU with prompt assistance while ensuring we continue to prioritize the care of all our Residents.
We know that you will agree our Residents/your loved ones deserve to be top of our minds and first on all our lists!
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Warmest regards,
Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
