Stomach Virus – 4th Floor Neighborhood Residents

We certainly did not want to start the new year with advice such as this, but several of our 4th floor neighborhood Residents have come down with a stomach virus. Out of an abundance of caution, we are taking extra steps to keep everyone safe.

Here’s what this means:

  • 4th floor neighborhood Residents are having meals and participating in activities within their own neighborhood. Only those Residents who are feeling unwell are being asked to stay in their rooms until they feel better. Families and friends may continue to visit their loved ones in their rooms or in the common areas on the 4th floor.
  • Residents in our 2nd and 3rd floor neighborhoods may continue their usual routines regarding meals, recreation, and visitation. No restrictions apply.

How you can help:

  • Follow all posted signage on mask use and hand hygiene practices.
  • Sanitize your hands often to protect yourself and our Residents.
  • Please wait to visit if you are not feeling well—your loved ones will thank you!

We are closely monitoring all Residents, and we offer the reassurance that we are doing our utmost to ensure everyone feels well cared for and comfortable.

Updates on our Residents’ health status will be provided, as needed. Thank you for doing your part in helping us keep our community healthy and connected!

Warmest regards,

Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
