Special Story About Our Home in the Winnipeg Free Press

Did you see our story in the Winnipeg Free Press Community Review?

The story, “A Home from Home,” highlights our 120-year history, the meaningful role The Home has played in our community, and our ongoing commitment to ensuring Residents experience dignity, comfort, and a true sense of belonging. It also touches on our current Rooms to Thrive initiative, which is helping us revitalize living spaces for those in our care.

We are especially proud to see the heart of our mission reflected so beautifully: creating a place where Residents are not just cared for but truly feel at home.

We invite you to take a few moments to read the full article…  A Home from Home  We are most proud to be featured – the reporter, Simon Fuller, did a great job!

As always, thank you to our families and friends for your ongoing support and for being such an important part of our community!

I quickly add my own personal two cents that this being our 120th Anniversary year, we would love to gather your stories, past/present, of memories of The Home or of your loved one who lives/lived at The Home.  Everyone has a story and we would love to gather yours and attempt to collect them in a “time capsule” for our future selves to read (of the “good ol’ days”!).  You can email your story to … do include photos, if you have any you are comfortable in sharing.

Wishing all a great weekend!  SPRING IS FINALLY HERE – I hope someone has told Mother Nature!🌸🪻💐

Warm regards,

Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
