Rooms to Thrive is both a heartfelt fundraising effort and a hands-on project dedicated to transforming the living spaces of our Residents—spaces they call home. In this first Post, I’ve shared my own story or better stated, my parents’ story, and what inspired me to invest in both the legacy and the future of The Home. I believe deeply in the incredible work being done at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. I believe in the strength of its leadership, the dedication of its staff, the warmth of its culture, and most of all—I believe in our Residents. They matter. They deserve to live in an environment that feels comforting, dignified, and truly like home.
