Positive News: Tummy Troubles are Easing!

As of Friday morning, February 28, we anticipate that Residents of our 4th floor neighborhood will be able to resume all routine activities for their dining, recreation programming, and visiting with families/friends on the main floor again.

For our 2nd and 3rd floors, we presently have two Residents per neighborhood floor who we suspect as having the norovirus. We are monitoring and managing the affected Residents very closely and should no further cases arise, all Residents from all neighborhoods will be able to resume their regular routines again on Friday! If there is any change in our Home’s status regarding the spread of the virus, we promise to share a further update.

Please continue to be diligent with your hand hygiene both inside and outside of The Home (a thorough wash with soap and water works best with the nasty norovirus, but when not possible – please do use hand sanitizer); and our housekeeping team will persist in being extremely thorough with their cleaning of all surfaces, particularly high touch areas.

Thank you for your patience as we work our way to the other side of our tummy troubles! We are almost there!

Best regards,

Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
