COVID-19 Outbreak Confirmed – 3rd Floor Neighborhood Residents

We, unfortunately, share advice that two of our 3rd floor neighborhood Residents have been “officially” confirmed as testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Both Residents continue to be experiencing mild symptoms, and we have informed their primary contacts. We, again, offer the reassurance that should your loved one be tested at any time, we will reach out to you directly based on our family/POA list.

We will continue to follow our established “already in place” infection control protocols as follows:

  • All Residents on the 3rd floor will receive their meals and participate in recreational activities exclusively within their neighborhood.
  • In-person visits are NOT impacted; for 3rd floor Residents’ families and friends, you may continue visiting your loved ones in their rooms or in the shared area on that floor.
  • When visiting, if a Resident is requested to stay in their room (indicated by signage on their door), we ask that you follow our personal protection guidelines, which include wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer.

With cold/flu and COVID season upon us, please sanitize your hands regularly to help keep everyone safe and healthy. If you’re feeling under the weather, we appreciate your understanding in postponing your visit until you’re back to feeling 100%.

We are closely monitoring all Residents and remain hopeful for a quick resolution.

Thank you for your continued support in caring for and about our community!

Warm regards,

Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
