We are so sorry to have to share advice of a Covid-19 outbreak (two active cases) impacting our 4th floor neighborhood Residents. The affected Residents’ symptoms are mild, and their primary contacts have been notified. Be assured that should your loved one be tested/involved at any point in the outbreak, prompt personal contact will be made as per our family/POA listing.
To prevent further spread, we are following our established protocols. For now, all 4th floor neighborhood Residents will receive their meals and participate in recreation activities within their neighborhood. In-person visitation is NOT being impacted for any of our Residents. Families/friends of our 4th floor neighborhood Residents may continue to visit with their loved ones in their room or 4th floor common area.
When visiting at The Home, if your loved one is being requested to remain in their room (room door signage will indicate any restrictions), please follow all personal protection guidelines, including wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer. We strongly encourage all families/friends to regularly sanitize your hands for your own protection and for that of our Residents. If you are feeling unwell, please postpone your visit until feeling better.
We will keep you updated on the health status of our Residents as needed. The care of our Residents is always our top priority.
Keep health-safe! We are here for you (and each other)!
