Isn’t it wonderful to finally enjoy what we wait all year for – WINNIPEG’s SUMMERTIME WEATHER! We don’t even let cankerworms dangling from trees or mosquitoes the size of small birds trouble us and keep us indoors! Winnipeggers are, indeed, a tough bunch!
We consider ourselves to be very blessed to have access to a beautiful courtyard where we can sit (either in the shade or sun) and take in nature’s beauty and truly feel part of a neighborhood. We encourage all families/friends to take advantage of our greenspace and to also partner with us in helping keep our outdoors looking its best by disposing of your litter (i.e., napkins, disposable beverage cups/cans, treat boxes, etc.) in one of our wastebins, and returning any borrowed glass/plastic coffee cups/tumblers, plates, etc. to our Dining Room at the conclusion of your visit.
We also request that when the glass doors to our Recreation room are closed signifying an activity is underway with our Residents, kindly use the door in our Tea Room to both exit and re-enter the Home. By doing so, the Recreation program is not disturbed and your access to our backyard will be much easier because of having a clear pathway.
THANK YOU for your anticipated cooperation to our asks! Wishing all a fantastic summer!
Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy.
To do nothing and have it count for something.
