Recognizing how busy everyone is as December 25 looms large and real on all our calendars, we take only a moment to share some true holiday blessings that have come our way over the past couple of weeks. (We promise to elaborate more in an upcoming Newsletter planned for the New Year.)
WE WON!! WE WON!!
You may recall a request to vote for us in Steinbach Credit Union’s Share the Light contest! Well, we are feeling mighty blessed because WE WON!! We are ever so grateful to all who nominated/voted for us and because of YOUR support, Steinbach Credit Union (SCU) has donated $3500 to our humble Home. (We delayed sharing this good news because of waiting on SCU to publish an interview that they had conducted with us – but their publication date seems to have been postponed.)

Since November 2020, we have been blessed to receive “walk-by/dance-by” visits from the Earl Grey school students of Classroom #16 – Grades 1, 2 & 3 Alternative and their teacher, Catherine Tattersall. This past Tuesday (December 20), the students came INSIDE our Home for a visit with our Residents! The fun was captured and shown on both CTV Winnipeg and National News broadcasts. IT WAS AMAZING and although we know that many have already seen the video segment – we believe it is still very worthwhile to share:

We are so thankful for all the blessings that we have received this year! In 2022, we welcomed many wonderful new Residents, families and friends as well as had the continued opportunity to cherish those who have been part of our clan for preceding months and years. Together, through the highs and lows of what is everyday life, we have supported one another, and given and received love. And that is what Christmas is all about!
