On the heels of our request for your assistance in completing paperwork with regards to the annual influenza vaccine, we now are able to provide you with Manitoba Health’s Factsheet for the soon to be available Covid19 Bivalent mRNA vaccine.
We are expecting to receive delivery of both this new bivalent covid vaccine, along with our seasonal influenza vaccine the week of September 19th.
Starting early next week, Justin Lagace, RN BN, will be calling primary contacts of Residents who have not had a booster dose in the past 3 months to obtain consent for this new Bivalent vaccine. For Residents who have recently tested positive for Covid19, we will be waiting 3 months before seeking approval to proceed with this Booster.
For some families who Justin has had recent discussions with about the vaccine, be assured your wishes have been noted and will be respected. 😊
