Good day!
With Spring being on our minds (but with snow shovels still by our doors!) and thanking everyone for their diligence in helping keep our Residents safe and well over the past many winter months, we have to, unfortunately, share advice of two Residents, one our 3rd floor and the second on our 4th floor, having tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Both Residents’ symptoms are mild and there is no indication that these two cases are related nor of any further spread at this time. The primary contacts for the affected Residents have been notified and should your loved one be tested/implicated at any point, personal contact will be made as per our family/POA listing.
At present, family/friend in-person visits are NOT being curtailed/impacted for any of our floors/Units. However, if you will specifically be visiting any of the Residents who are in isolation/directly impacted, please first stop by the nurse’s station/speak to any of our healthcare professionals on the Unit for appropriate guidance before entering their respective rooms.
The COVID-19 virus remains with us in the community and has become something that we simply have to be mindful of in looking after our own health and, of course, the wellbeing of all our loved ones.
Updates on our status will be provided as warranted.
Warmest regards,
Sherry Heppner
Development Coordinator
