Covid-19 Outbreak (2 active cases) – 2nd floor Neighborhood Residents

We are so sorry to start your week with advice of a Covid-19 outbreak (two active cases) impacting our 2nd floor neighborhood Residents. The impacted Residents’ symptoms are mild (runny nose and cough) and their primary contacts have been notified. Be assured that should your loved one be tested/implicated at any point in the outbreak, prompt personal contact will be made as per our family/POA listing.

Adhering to our established protocols and out of an abundance of caution to contain any further spread, all 2nd floor neighborhood Residents are being served their meals and participating in recreation activities within their neighborhood. In-person visitation is NOT being impacted for any of our Residents. Families/friends of our 2nd floor neighborhood Residents may continue to visit with their loved ones in their room/or common area on the 2nd floor.

When visiting at The Home, if your loved one is being specifically asked to remain in their room (room door signage will be present noting any restrictions), please adhere to all personal protection instructions regarding wearing a mask/hand sanitization. For all family/friend visitors, we encourage you to take advantage at every opportunity to sanitize your hands. This is as much for your own protection as it is our Residents. Also, if you are feeling unwell, please stay home and plan your visit for when feeling well again.

As warranted, we will keep you informed of our Residents’ health status. The care of our Residents is always our top priority – we will ensure all needs are being met to the absolute best of our ability.

Keep health-safe! Soon we will be able to get outside and let Mother Nature make us all feel better with her sunshine and warmth!
